Home Visits

Doctor's bag

In most circumstances we prefer to see patients in the surgery, as we have the staff and equipment to best care for you here. However, if you feel this is not possible, you may request a visit at home. Please contact reception to arrange this, preferably before 10am if you can. It is not always possible to visit a patient at home, and if we feel your case is an emergency we may ask you to call an ambulance instead.

You can be visited at home by a community nurse if you are referred by your GP. You should also be visited at home by a health visitor if you have recently had a baby or if you are newly registered with a GP and have a child under five years.
