Covid Vaccination Update

We have just had confirmation that the Astra Zeneca/Oxford Vaccinations will be arriving at the beginning of January. Due to the success of our mass vaccination clinics at Balfron High School we will be rolling our the Covid Vaccinations in the same format. The first group of patients eligible to receive the vaccine are the over 80 year olds.

We will be contacting patients in the New Year to book appointments.

We will keep you all updated through this website and Facebook Balfron For All and Killearn For All on when the vaccine will be available for everyone else.

If you are eligible for a Flu Vaccine but missed one of our Flu Clinics at Balfron High School don't worry. Call the surgery on 01360 440515 to make an appointment to come to the surgery. We now have vaccines for the 60 - 64 year old patients.

Morning Surgery

All appointments will be over the telephone or through video link using Near Me (see below for instructions on how to use this service). If, after that conversation with a GP, they want to see you the GP will arrange for a time for you to come into the surgery. If coming into the surgery please can you come alone or if help is required bring only one other person with you.

Open access Monday   – Friday 8.30am -10am

We are running an Open Access Surgery every morning but instead of coming into the surgery we ask you to call us on 01360 440515 between 8.30am & 10am and you will be asked by our Reception Team why you are calling. They will either put you down for a call back that morning or arrange an afternoon appointment time for you. Although we endeavour to call patients as quickly as we can, on busy days you may need to wait some time.

Afternoon Surgery

(Appointments only) Monday – Friday afternoons 2.30pm - 5pm

You can book a telephone or Near Me Video appointment for a specific time and doctor in the afternoons via reception or online when available.

Video Consultations

We are now able to offer a video consultation with our GPs. If this form of consultation is required the GP will organise this directly with you. Please follow the instructions in the link on how to access this service:
